At Greenlake Guest House, we are committed to ensuring a pleasant experience for all our guests. Please read our Refund and Cancellation Policy carefully before making a booking. This policy applies to all reservations made directly through our website or affiliated online platforms.

All transactions are conducted in Lesotho Loti (LSL), denoted by the currency symbol M for Maluti.

1. Reservation & Payment Policy

  • Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on the rate selected.
  • Payments can be made via credit/debit card, EFT, or approved online gateways.
  • All prices are listed in Maluti (M) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellation Policy

Standard Bookings:

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to check-in will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in will be charged 50% of the total booking amount.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in or no-shows will be charged 100% of the booking amount.

Non-Refundable Bookings:

  • These bookings cannot be canceled or refunded under any circumstances.

Group Bookings or Extended Stays (more than 7 days):

  • Require 14 days’ notice for a full refund.
  • Cancellations within 14 days are subject to a 50% charge.

3. Refund Policy

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
  • Refunds will be made using the original method of payment.
  • Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

4. Early Departure / Late Arrival

  • No refunds are provided for early departures once check-in has occurred.
  • If you arrive later than your scheduled check-in date, your reservation will be held, but no partial refunds will be issued for the missed nights.

5. Modification of Reservations

  • Date changes are permitted subject to availability and must be requested at least 72 hours prior to check-in.
  • Rate differences may apply depending on new booking dates.

6. Force Majeure / Acts of Nature

In the event of travel restrictions, natural disasters, pandemics, or government advisories affecting travel, Greenlake Guest House may offer credit vouchers, rescheduling options, or partial refunds on a case-by-case basis.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy and all related transactions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Lesotho.
Any disputes arising from or relating to bookings, cancellations, refunds, or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lesotho.
